Media relations team members serve as primary contacts for the media. Communication managers collect and share Pitt news with the press and gather information for the University’s news service, Pittwire. Communication managers also provide strategic communications guidance to assigned schools and departments. The press is encouraged to contact news representatives to interview experts in a variety of fields.
